What you will read

https://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/news/17794547.wiltshire-police-lookin...

Looks like an e-bike? Not OK to hit and run.

No doubt the police and media will show a similar level of interest if ever Any of the many eggy encounters I have with cars ever results in contact.

What you won’t read:

“police would like to speak to Mr Revvy Revvy narrow country lane Saab 05 last Friday at 7.15 pm who bellowed “pull over” when a cyclist finally caved-in to his intimidating behaviour and did indeed pull over in a driveway to let the idiot go past.”

I note from the article that the pedestrian was "walking along Devizes Road, crossing Highfield Road".

Looking at Streetview, Highfield Road is the side road on the left, here:  https://goo.gl/maps/AxbzWH1vqSeKu5KRA

Doesn't that mean that the pedestrian had priority? (HC 170).

I also note that the bicycle was so badly damaged (allegedly) that it couldn't be ridden away.

Exactly how fast was that e-bike being ridden...?
