cyclists- SCOURGE OF THE ROADS- tuesday night channel 5… um, so completely ignoring the fact cars cause traffic jams everywhere they go, and bikes never do- ignoring the fact cars are constantly two or three abreast, not single file, slowing down both cyclists AND bikes and people who need to be there- ignoring the fact a car is a lethal weapon and a bicycle is the most effecient form of transport ever invented- yep, just create more hatred for us, cheers.  I can overtake cyclists properly in my car or on a motorbike, even if theyre two abreast, i know why we dont use cycle paths or shared useage and i know i only have permission to drive my car, not a right like a bicycle has. Why does this all go out the window when its the media?  if they want cyclists to be banned from the roads, by all means, youre going the right way about causing literal road lock and more deaths from air pollution.

I agree with the good thing. Kids get less wet. More eager to get out and visit friends. Wide tyre bikes.
When amongst well fed men, veggies, fruit, common old food. It makes sense that everyone knows their business and just has fun intended. Criminals will be criminals regardless if we choose to judge their abilities via the abilities we have.
A lot of people simply need better food. I know it’s often a difference between ‘can’t be bothered, ill drive’ & ‘ you beauty, riding to work. ‘

Alley ways near my house were sold off to adjacent properties. Fenced as private own and no longer public though a fares.

I doubt that logic. Cyclists tend to enjoy health. Dickheads will be dickheads.
Lost my best bike to the dickheads.. Searched internet years and can’t find (not actual handlebar) but relavent replacement of such.. Like they were never made.. Only drawback was speed wobbles if coming in too quick and needing to dish speed by shifting grip and applying brakes.
Hence.. Looks like the alleys were decommissioned to allow easier policing.

Channel 5 merely demostrated (again) that they can fill an hour of their schedule on an incredibly low budget. The program did nothing other than illustrate that there are dickheads in all walks of life.

i dont use twiiter but im tempted to email all of them- like why does nobody ever get angry at car drivers causing miles of queues and tailbacks, slowing down delivery drivers to zero mph, but its absolutely fine to abuse a cyclist going between 10 and 30 mph? hypocritical they are

I think I scared a cyclist
I think I scared a cyclist Saturday..
About 65 tonnes of metallic beast.. Probably a slight climb.. Had momentum in case there was no oncoming yet as site sight opened, there was.. Good ol’ Jacob (engine compression brakes) sorta wakes the dead..
I didn’t mind. I rolled at his speed, lagging about 10 metres. Just rolled along behind, had room to safely pass at those speeds yet our laws here are 1.5 metres of cyclists clearance.
I enjoyed watching.. Some stranger, a bit of a gut, nice disc brakes.. Pedalling a bit harder than before in my opinion.
It was only a minute or two yet I enjoyed admiring him.. I’d rather be riding, he was.

1 metre in city..
1.5 in country..
(Or other way around).
Most of this city has bike lanes now.. Legally park able outside of twice daily 4 hour duration peak times is usual.
