A great cycling safety article
This piece on (poor) safety for cyclists in NYC is really good. Much of what it says is just as applicable to London or Edinburgh or most other UK cities.

Sickening, plod in NY as I've said are the worst of the worst when it comes to upholding laws when a cyclist is the victim, truly digusting pieces of excrement, they almost make the MET look competent!
