Cycling confuses me

I know I ain't a man of high respect yet I enjoy and that's good enough to me.
I guess many drivers don't respect cyclists because they simply don't know how too.
Anyway. I feel great. Broken back, broken neck, broken ankle, legs, hand, shoulder, skull, cheek bone, a few more yet I feel fantastic. At age 45 I've had arthritis 38 years and I'm loving it.
No woman, no pride. Yeah, probably true yet I open my house door and like the lives of a cat is my 9 bikes. Each slightly different, each ridden (mostly) until service smooth glide required (besides the hub gear, that bike marvels me). That way I can reduce service time to a minimal.
Hub gear made me think today.. Because so wet, I left pannier at home, wore wet jacket pants out the door and just rode with tool kit I never used bum bagged over my shoulder under jacket. 25 clicks into a slight head wind. Guessing the panniers do grab lots of wind.

Anyway, plastics aren't great food.. Recycle.
Celery is natures viagra. Carbo fueled non soluble fibre.
White vinegar soaked metal 24 hours breaks rust, just wire brush the flakes off, perfect.

Live to ride, ride to live. What once was petrol costs to commute paid my bikes. Loving life.
Saturn is forming an atmosphere

You rock Concorde.. Maybe I didn't thank you regarding a read last winter.. I practiced during summer..
Basically loved the direct drive of a single cog.
No square needed to understand triangular wheel systems have dragon..
Yet multiple ratios nice to push wind with (and/or climb).

I can't thank you well yet here's to ...

Thanks.. I'm out of here.. I'd rather be cycling, or walking, or sailing..
Practice easier to remind friends how to cycle, glad to use multiple bikes. See ya another year..
Because cycling sucks sometimes. Riding below zero, shape flatter than a lady, painful, slow, finding out keys are left at work..
Not all fun..
Walking funner.. Chasing AI bots.. Just cycling faster.

What I meant is..
Earth is a planet; an entity; a self breathing carbon based entity,; a being; our kingdom hence (mother) Earth.
You, me are and equal, hence as a brother of yours I can share my education as best I can but I'm often seen as wrong too.

Hence, kingdom is Earth and royalties priority should be gifted to the kingdom as Earth is our true majesty; an entity whom survives us, her parasites.
Cycling obviously cleaner than driving, same with sailing vs powerboat.
Just understand, I'm learning too, I dislike cold knots too, people speak yet when Earth speaks she attentions many.
That's why I recycle.
That's why I'm dumbfounded too.
Thousands of people relax around me too.
My explanation is of same value as any other.. A man

I confused myself.
No ask.
Just saying.. Now happy with transportation and saving but don't see why simple lightweight bikes such as mid nineties aren't around to purchase with aero cut frames, forks, bars and without carbon fibre forks. Surely manufacturing could understand that their market would increase per potential buyers if recyclable materials were allowed to be bought as an entire fairly light, aero, strong, road bicycle.

Adelaide Pete.
I don't intend offend.
English was great until.....
I'd learnt a Shaolin alphabet. Not allowed to teach but allowed to swap techniques.
What I did learn of is..
Singapore or Malaysia have an excellent recycling of bin waste..
Here we recycle plastics.. I've carried a pie wrapper the last 6 hours. No weight, no big deal. It'll find the soft plastic recycling plant some day rather than landfill or ocean.

Many of you guys love the properties of carbon fibre too. My rigid 18 foot racing dinghy with sail 9 metres peak height raised weighs in less than my naked man; fully rigged.
Yet to recycle here is a nightmare.
When looking at future. We hope our children have a clean playground too. Earth does breath and can handle some toxicity yet as individuals we do what we do.

I like the alloy racer, aero and bearings reduce effort and weight is about 7kg.
The 1990s racer is similar to weight (slightly heavier), smooth bearings make a big difference.
Point being.. Nowadays.. Manufacturing.. I'd rather buy an aero alloy (chromo, 6061, titanium) if offered.. Metal place recycles easy.

Hoping royalties are understood someday.. A kingdom.. Taxes simple. Effort to protect earth pays an untold simplicity.. Loving life with you.. I'm guessing many of us hope to hold quality traveling tools such as a bicycle, a boat, until able to recycle or find a new home.

Confuses me too. I prefer simpler payment of royalty, eg just exercise..

We love the clean places we play.. Our children would appreciate similar.

Glad about your friend.
I love it. If I don't find humour then patience ,might.
I'm kind of cyborg. I told a sweet girl this. Lights then went out. Darkness. We went and got something to eat. She ran away with my phone. She got beaten on back of head. Hospital stay 4 days. Then tapped my shoulder 4 days later..

Anyway.. I'm socially dumb.. I live amongst ignorance. People complain about hurt feelings yet isn't feel meant to hurt to assist learning..
We attempt nice too..
Just soo soo stoked.. Not spending $25 weekly on petrol.. Lucky enough to work. Not needing super fast road bikes. Loving quality. Now used to it.. Don't have to be fit, etc. Just do it. Bodies better. I get overtaken a lot. Whoop whoop.
Mate got into it. Pension. Transport. Loves it.
Like many. Figured some might want hints.
Maybe I'm not so good with 50% of you guys. Baa sheep. Still love ya.
Other 50%. Maybe a know body? Eg dumb as, it's just an excuse to exercise and feel well.

Mate had options. So did I. I started with a $200 road. No regrets.
He started with a $400 and my willingness to go gum tree shopping with him. He chose new. Warranty, etc.
I like second hand. Avoiding carbon fibre due to recycling and although I'd like 38mm on rear as future upgrade, new bikes tend to be carbon forks. Years to wait..
I like 1990 era. 7 speed. Cheap yet quality servicing, easy maintenance, fast road, long distance comfort.
Middle winter here. Happy to see many commuting using bicycles. Loving life.

Life is hard.. May as well enjoy such
Thanks to, council and guys girls like you and me. We have 640+ km dedicated bike tracks in our small city.
Thanks

Keep up the posts Boatsie - they do read a bit like freeform poetry but they are entertaining and they're not hard to understand. 1

Perhaps Boatsie is an A.I. Bot and this is a taste of the future of Internet forums

What else will you do with the time spent sitting in your self driving car? May as well have a pointless conversation with an algorithm.

Have to admit that I'd assumed that English wasn't their first language and that we were reading their thoughts filtered by way of Google translate. I dread to think what my comments would look like if I had to google translate them into mandarin or Vietnamese or something.

they'd look like this:

Phải thừa nhận rằng tôi cho rằng tiếng Anh không phải là ngôn ngữ đầu tiên của họ và rằng chúng tôi đang đọc những suy nghĩ của họ được lọc theo cách dịch của Google. Tôi sợ phải nghĩ những bình luận của mình sẽ như thế nào nếu tôi phải google dịch chúng sang tiếng quan thoại hoặc tiếng Việt hoặc một cái gì đó.

I'd meant more like, would my reasonable comments all come out like Vietnamese Beat poetry or something...

I dunno: I still think we ought to collect Boatsie's posts and get them published! Very groovy.

Boo who.. Lots of my family are Welsh.. Imagine reading a superior language.
Eg.. Shoe my butt.. Lol

Loving life.. Spending basically nothing on transport.. Cleaned hub speed chain this morning.. After 6+ months solid riding rain, hail, shine. 2 minutes with wd40,rag, rockNroll wet, rag.. Like new.. Smooth. Bit grabby freewheel yet don't notice when pedalling.

Hence 3 years ago on 10+ year old $200 racer.. Saving $25-$50 per week regarding choice of bike over automobile. Soon after bought a $200 same style but higher quality.. Now loving route choices, speed choices and recyclable bikes.
Work mate showed keen interest so I gave him my old bike, new tyres, lubed, suitable to non pinch puncture. Used experience to gift something reliable.. He was smiling. " it's pretty quick"
Yeah, no ship.
Hopefully buying another roadie later this week. 62cm. Cheap, quality, weight liftable with little finger, a quarter century old.
I like the feel of them. Usually chromo forks, 6061 frame.

If I moved to Wales I'd look at 35mm hub speed. Weather. Plus something quicker.

Riding is awesome even if fat, slow, fit, dumb, numb, filled with mum, get used to it and enjoy.

I played rugby yesterday, got a smashed cheekbone/teeth and a deep muscle injury in my quad from a knee at full speed, but I went cycling this morning to help ease my pain, cycling is a cure all.

And recycling, collected the usual strewn CO2 cannisters ... grrrr

Hope your feeling better..
My teacher was awesome and surprised. He'd been one of the state examiners or something like that and understands pedantic writing of maths better than I.

My mate Moz's in hospital, stroke, paralyzed right side. Far right aye..
He's improved heaps.. Nostril tube feeding halted, now speaking better, eating normal, drinking. I bet drinking's the best fun having had to go without.
Anyway, what I noticed was nerves exist but paralysis. He could feel the touch on paralysis side. I tapped him, punch maybe? Punch strength we gift giggly old ladies with.. Not hard yet it felt pain.
We love pain, we cycle, a wind ow pain, a window pane filling with rhythm.
No problems, I tapped his knuckle an hour, he loved that.. Hopefully he recovers quicker having used his knowledge base.
We've planned a bicycle race.. My fastest against a future wheelchair. 1

I blacked out when someone showed me 31 dimensions.
Modern maths suggests writing dimensions as.
Point, line, volume, time.
Mate's in still. I keep lubing my pants. I gotta go ride to keep my shhh it.
Honesty is so weird.. Just adjusted derraileur, hoping wd40 frees something that's sticky, looks like hub speed again. Sticky bearings too but only on freewheel.

Sorry to hear about Moz. A friend of mine had a stroke about a year and a half ago - he was paralyzed on his right side as well. Like you say, it's not the nerves but the wiring in the brain that gets injured. My mate recovered relatively quickly and was able to walk around after a few months and now you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at him. According to him/his doctors, his brain switched over to his infant system (e.g. crawling) and even now he has some strange symptoms e.g. the standard knee/leg kick reflex is in a different place on his right leg and if he doesn't concentrate then his right hand tends to move suddenly when he tries to move his right leg. Anyhow, a full recovery is very possible from a stroke.

Don't listen to those naysayers calling you a bot - that's just rude.

I had best day..
Winter storm, worst so far this year. Home now, destraddled the bike and walked in, warm as toast with a wet spot at the bottom of both socks plus being a hub gear I don't need to service anything..
Grippy as on 38/35 tiny tread.

YET..
just watched a turbocharged all wheel drive ricochet of a guard rail, lock all wheels, slide up a hill, over an island, take down a big double light pole and block 2 lanes. I stopped, I now think detachable torch front lights are fantastic. A light pole horizontal at height about 2 feet is hard to see at night time and although I shone beam up at cars near 500metres then held illumination on pole hazard.. Drivers exist..

Thanks per the compliments, I think I'm like you.. Here too, enjoy life. I do.
Often wrong yet who cares. In high school we were taught about horrible treatment of kind man. Kind men were regarding recognition. Meanwhile, a beautiful aboriginal girl as smart as me was told by the teacher to be goalie during physical education class and our learning of hockey. I teased her (i played hockey) and l let one rip, hit the post hard, cling.. I was told off. I scored another break and banged it, ricochet top pole. She was save but would've hurt if ball hit.
Nowadays, local chief is known by many, taxes still don't contribute greatly towards a knowledge base that benefits our futures food quality and at the moment, Mortal Kombat is recruiting here in this little city of Adelaide.

Point being.. Not much really.. Frequency plates were used to keep my skull break site active. 14 years of daily same spot headache.. FBI wrote magazine article about brainwashing criminals using skull dugery.. Local Intelligence bureau offered me a career. (I was A grade during battle fitness assessment with Australian Army during a broken wrist).

But I don't care. Bicycles to cover land faster than walking.
Sail boats to cover water faster than swimming.
Picking up plastic to take home, place in plastic bin, later recycle..
I'm just the same as you. Animals, insects,
notice that sort of behaviour , not opinions such as, " he could have hurt her. "

My English not strong, I proved the Australian school text book of mathematics wrong twice during high school. First I was told I'm being an idiot again, prove it.. Took 5 lines of chalk on board. 2nd time I was informed that my knowledge included the location of chalk.
Cheese.

Just loving life too.
I'd love to read other stories.. That's true to me

Actually read as poetry, it's as good as anything my son brought home for GCSE study.

"wore wet jacket pants out the door and just rode with tool kit I never used bum bagged over my shoulder under jacket."

Doesn't that just sum up the carefree, though self sufficient nature of a cyclist?

Dear road.cc admins: can we compile the posts of Boatsie into a book, maybe sell it for charity as modern free form poetry?

Or lyrics of lost Smiths songs?  Boatsie's the new Morrissey, hopefully minus the support for the far-right.
