Comfy Road Bike After Broken Shoulder

    So have had two months off cycling due to a broken shoulder from a mountain bike crash.  Any recommendations for a comfy road bike – Spec Roubaix looks good or just stikc with my 2015 Cannondale Synapse and MTFU.

    How about getting a bike fit with your current setup and seeing if an expert can help you find a position that will help you through this recovery period?

    By ‘comfy’, do you mean a

    By ‘comfy’, do you mean a higher front end, or a shorter reach, or what? Narrower or wider bars? What positions are more or less comfortable?

    If it’s one of the former, you may be best served putting together a spreadsheet of the geometry figures and working out the stack & reach ratios for each, adding in the possible spacer height and considering bars, maybe narrower.
