My father rode with the East Didsbury Wheelers in 1934. He noted that they started their runs from “the top of Kingsway in Didsbury” which fits with the Gateway pub. Is your present club, Manchester Wheelers, a descendant of this club? Are there any records of membership etc. from this period?
