Is anyone else experiencing delays in having their bike orders despatched by Canyon? My bike has apparrently been ready to be shipped since 27th December but UPS have not collected it from the Canyon factory.

I appreciate that there may be some delays during the festive period, but we are well past that now, and still no sign of my order being despatched despite being told repeatedly since the 27th of December by Canyon that “it should be picked up by UPS today, and failing that then tomorrow”.

I’d be interested if anyone else is having a similar experience?

For once, I would not be

For once, I would not be blaming the courier company.  I got burnt by Canyon before.

I must have been fortunate in 2017 when I ordered my Canyon, I seem to have escaped the infamously long delays of the previous year and avoided this year’s hiccups.  My Endurace arrived exactly on schedule and was part of a first-class package, better than any of the other dozen mail-order bikes I’ve received over the years.

It’s a pity the company hasn’t learned that broken promises mar the whole buying experience, there must be plenty of customers who won’t go back.  

But even if I was in your shoes Bob, I would hang in there, you will always remember how wonderful the bike is and the inconvenience will soon be forgotten.
