Got a very good review in a recent Cycling UK magazine.
I picked one up in from the factory outlet in April this year for the ridiculous price of £870. I was considering the equilibrium too but then took a punt of this....
My advice would be either get one while you can, or wait for the new version of it ( which i presume will have thru axles if they follow the new shimano road standard)
Boardman havent put enough effort into marketing it IMHO as I only stumbled on it by chance.
The stock tyre come up around 31mm and there is plenty of room i reckon it'll take a 33/ 34 easilly with the right sized guards, you might even get a 40 on without guards. The stock guards are crap though... be ready to replace them (PDW City Guards )
Its got a real long wheel base and decent clearance around the chainstay / bb area . Likewise the front fork is generous. Perfect as a do everything / go practically everywhere bike.
Rides quallity is decent, thrown it at everything, canal paths, railway trails cobbles., long club runs, commuting. absorbs all the road noise from our crap roads. Takes a rack etc
Make sure you work out your sizing precisely using a stack / reach calc though...
They are sized / labelled oddly. I'm 5-11 and every bike i have is a 56cm.
I went for the medium.
Stock wheels are like cheese, so expect to replace them.. With a decent set of handbuilts in, its a completley different ride, and its going to get many years of use / abuse!
My advice would be go for it... oh and the paintwork.... the photos just dont do it justice!
Here is the review, the bike has 28mm tyres standard and mudguards, so could take a larger tyre easily without guards.

I dont have one, I.ve just bought my daughter the HYB8.6 from Halfords(I'm building it up ). I got 10% discount with my British cycling membership(take voucher BC website creates + BC membership) and this month Boardman allows you to pick an extra £75 worth of cycle related from Halfords for free.
