How do I determine if fork is tapered or untapered on a road bike.

Honestly I have no idea about this sort of stuff, I am In need of a new fork for my 2014 Claud Butler Torino SR1 and I have no clue if its tapered or untapered steerer tube, is there a way to know without removing the fork or will I have to remove it to check?

Hi-Ten steel straight blade is described on some sales website. The obvious way is that the steer tube on the frame is tapered in appearance, so much wider at the bottom. I've looked and it appears to be a straight tube not tapered.

Next step remove fork from bike and this will confirm. See YouTube for help/guidance in removing fork
