E Bikes are definitely top of the thieves shopping list at the moment; sadly people are finding out the hard way if you don't use a decent lock. I'd double lock with the best you can buy, given the cost of an e bike; not as if extra weight is an issue.
More shocking that uploads his ebike rides to Strava. Shame on him.

I imagine the thieves are Strava vigilantes who've done the world a small favour. The first generation to fight back. A bit like Magnum Force:

There is an e-bike setting which doesn't appear on leaderboards. You can even Canoe on Strava these days.
