Hi.
I had an Endurace cf sl, the cheaper version of the carbon frame, and found it to be more race than endurance and didn’t find it to be particularly comfortable.
I’ve also had a Trek Domane which rather than being comfortable just wobbles the seatpost and feels strange.
My favourite bike for my weekly 60-100 mile ride is my Trek Emonda. With a set of aluminium tubeless wheels at 85psi and Trek isocore handlebars it’s the most comfortable bike I’ve owned. I’m middle aged and not fast so comfort is important to me. I suspect the tubeless wheels and isocore handlebars could turn the Canyon into a comfortable bike, especially the handlebars which transformed the Emonda for me.
I've got an 'older' R872 - (not the latest version, although it looks to be very similar bar the seatpost diameter) and love it.
it's not the most comfortable bike, but it's fast, light and corners very well. it's not an endurance bike so i wouldn't compare it to the canyon endurance. the R872 is more of a race bike in my view, but I've happily ridden it over 100 miles several times without it letting me down.
i think ribble do a more endurance focused bike - might be worth checking out.
