Newer rider here.  Was looking at upgrade from current Giant OCR 1 and rode leftover Supersix; I was blown away by how the bike took off when pedaled hard, even up hills.  Night and day compared to my OCR. Fast forward and I receive free used 2011 Trek from relative.  Don’t feel bad, he still has five other bikes!  Figured it would take off like a rocket also, but not so; much more like my current OCR.  Are the Cannondale and Trek that different, or could it be the Trek just needs a tune up?  I’ve replaced the brakes and am cleaning up and tuning the drivetrain.  Thanks!

I’ve ridden both, and love my supersix evo. I think the cannondale’s generally stiffer, but to be honest, the main difference is probably fit…. I found the madone felt a bit more upright
