Hi! Dropped a stem clamp bolt from my canyon v13 stem this morning and for the life of me can’t find the washer. I’m now questioning of both bolts had washers to start with and I don’t have time to contact canyon for a replacement before I go on holiday. Can someone confirm if both stem bolts on the v13 stem have these tapered wahers?

Canyon’s website makes mention of “semi-spherical ” washers which apparently reduce the bending forces on the bolts.  And more power to their elbow, I love attention to detail, but if one were missing it wouldn’t stop me from riding the bike.

Send them an email and, if they are any good, they’ll pop one in the post to you; it ‘ll be waiting when you get back from holiday.
