It’d be interesting to compare 20inch wheels with pneumatics against 26inch wheels with solid tyres. My experience of solid tyres is that they don’t roll that well unless on a really good surface, so I reckon the 20inch wheels would probably win.

I am not sure of the

I am not sure of the practical application of this for bicycles though as the folded shape seems rather bulky so can’t see it challenging or complementing the existing folding bikes. The larger wheel size could possibly add more speed if you could manage the extra bulk but how much would that extra speed be when having to use solid tyres? This does look like a very interesting innovation though (I was actually wondering why such a thing was not in existance just last year) and I am very interested to see how things develop further.
