Zipp vs Hunt Wheels

I have read many positive things about Hunt wheels and was tempted by their aero disc wheels but have seen the Zipp 302s get good reviews too.  Zipps are about £100 more but might be easier to resell on eBay than the Hunts.

The Hunts

Any wheel experts out there who have tried either wheelsets or ideally both?

Their aluminium rims are normally Kinlin. This is the same as the Cycle Clinic own brand so I would think the quality is pretty good.

Haha, brilliant!

Related: does anyone know where Hunt get their aluminium rims? I don't trust carbon and would like to build myself another set with better hubs and a deeper section.

The Hunts are cheaper, over 150g lighter despite being 5mm deeper, and most importantly can be setup tubeless. In my experience going tubeless is a massive improvement in speed, grip and reliability.

I'd choose the Hunts for sure.

That Zipp price is just for one, the Hunts are a pair yes.
