Adblock Plus is bad form – the digital equivalent of lifting a magazine from a newsstand!
No it's not, its like watching the TV and making a cup of tea during the adverts you tit, Sites that monetise content are the problem not Ad blockers or hacks that block all advertising host sites.
There is a really cool hack that you can deploy in Safari so on sites like Vevo and YouTube you don't have to sit waiting 5seconds for the adverts to finish.
At the bottom of ever page on the site is a link allowing you to report an annoying ad so that we can try and block it. We can't do that though unless we know what it is.
There is one particular video ad that is causing the problem... they must know what it is by now and block it as it went away for a bit but is back today. Clearly they find a way of getting through.
Chrome Canary. I don't have any issues with badly behaved ads, but the static ones display so site still gets the revenue.
Regretably, for I know the sites need the ad' revenue, Adblock Plus is the answer.
