Road to mtb

Hi all, i ride a road bike all the time but have seen a mtb i quite like the look of, could anyone help in telling me what average road speeds i will get from a 30t front and an 11t cassette as ive a bit of road work to do before i get off road, i hope this makes sense ??? my average cadence on my roadie is around 80, any help appreciated.

You will also find that the tyres, weight and position on an MTB will bring the speed down but then you can hoon around in the woods on it. I love my MTB. It's simple and fun (possibly like me).

"Road to MTB " - is that one of the later Bob Hope / Bing Crosby films? I'm not familiar with it, I'm afraid...   3
