This fell out of my carbon frame should i be worried

so after turning my new bike upside down to retrieve part of the seatpost clamp that fell into the frame this fell out (see link below) it appears to be some sort of resin. My question is should I be worried about the integrity of the frame.

Looks like your bike was assembled by a crusty old gentlemen and a hunk of his finger nail snapped right off mid-job ...

Looks like resin to me.

I dropped a very small circlip down the carbon steerer/forks of my Canyon, I'm sure that's still in there somewhere!

That, if I have ever seen one, is justification for a new frame (or even bike).  Tell your other half that it is potentially lethal to keep riding the bike and get yourself a new one quickly.
