i recently purchased first time SHIMANO SPD SL R 550 PEDALS  with Shimano SH-11 SPD-SL Road Cleats  …i just want to know this SHIMANO SPD SL R 550 PEDALS are compatible  with any  Keo Cleats ???? or  it is compulsory  have to use SH-11 SPD-SL Road Cleats only ????? please reply

Samething applies to Shimano. A couple of the lower level pedals have a slightly different cleat to the rest of the range.

Won’t work, different form factors.  And, yes, you do have to only use SH-11 SPD-SL cleats with your pedals, but you’re not limited to Shimano made cleats as various mfg’s make these cleats too.
