I’ve been riding the same Fizik Arione saddle since about 2003 and it’s worn out.  I’ve looked at replacing it with a new one, but have a new saddle on my other bike and they are not the same build quality. I’m aware that there are re-saddlers operating in the US and Australia where leather workmanship is still a thing, but wondered whether anyone was doing this is the UK?

There is someone in the UK –

There is someone in the UK – South London Saddle Company – had a chat and look at their work at a show last year and they’ll renovate existing saddles, customise or work on brand new ones. Well worth a look.

Not cheap but quality isn’t cheap as artisans like these ought to be properly paid for their work.

Not your question at all but

Not your question at all but I was going to photo and list a couple of Arione R3 saddles for sale tonight (brand new and unused red central stripe and almost new (but with small scuff) white with black central stripe).

Sadly they’re not 2003 models.  Hopefully a healthy discount would help you get passed the pain though!
