Tragic news this morning as Scarponi has died in a morning training session….He was hit by a vehicle near his home and died instantly…. A great rider who often sacrificed himself for the team but when given licence to ride for himself, he was a capable champion…. the peloton and the cycling world will miss him…. Black cloud over the forthcoming Giro….
