Comfort Seatposts

Does anyone have any recommendations for a comfort seatpost that will be a bit cheaper than the most popular offerings from Canyon (VCLS), Ritchey (Flexlogic), Syntace(P6 Hi-Flex) etc?  I'm not really up for dropping over a ton on a post so any more budget suggestions (which still offer great comfort) very welcome.

Alternatively, anyone looking to flog one, let me know!

*I have found the Syntace for £90 online actually so this will be my fallback option if no better suggestions, any opinions on this one appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks for you replies, all.  Think I'll keep an eye on ebay and see what comes up.  I'll avoid the chinese versions I think though, probably fine but times aren't that hard!

cyclesteffer, did you notice a significant difference between the RSP and a 'standard' carbon post?

The RSP elite seatpost is great value. Added it to several of my bikes.

There is a chinese copy of the VCLS 2.0 currently on eBay if that is of any interest?

*I have no association with the seller, I am only aware of it because I have a VCLS alert set up on eBay

Might seem counter intuitive, but lower your bars, move the seat a wee bit forward, and add a 10mm longer stem. It tips your weight forward off your saddle and on to your handlebars. Bingo, no saddle problems!

The Canyon VCLS (first version) seatpost in 27.2 is about as flexy as you can get. I've also got the Syntace Hyflex P6 in  31.6, which is brilliant. When I swapped it out the first time it was like night and day.

Basically if you're not happy with one of these, you need to stand up over bumps (you should do that anyway). Otherwise, Rule V applies 3

I really like 27.2 Exotic carbon posts. They're cheap, they're really light and they flex alot. I use one for racing CX and no breakages so far.
