Would you risk these - Integrated Chinese Bars

I would love a set of Bontrager RXL integrated bars but they are £300 an there is no way i can justify that.  Id save 250 grams over the aluminium ones on my Emonda but nahhh.

However, these are so tempting but i dont know if its risky or not.

Has anyone tried these.  Are there actually reputable chinese factory direct stuff.  The Ali Express page says that there is a 2 year warrenty! which i imaging is worth nothing.

If i can find some good testimonials on these ill jump at them but otherwise ill have to pass.

Love the responses.  I'm no way buying these.  But I admit I did consider it if I could find some decent testimonials.

Don't be daft. It's your safety you're risking.

And if you think a saving of 250grams will make a difference........

I tried a similar pair from AliExpress but they were really badly made. A crack developed from just tightening up the stem bolts to 4nm so I got my money back (despite the manufacturer claiming it was just a surface crack).

The risk of counterfeit is too great for me.

Below, a vid of a mechanic snapping fake bars with his bare hands. He may be very strong, or be stressing the bars in a direction they're not designed to take loads on, but it's not a good look.

You can't buy this stuff unless people vouch for it. There's a Chinese carbon bar thread on:

Somr stuff is legit, really well made, but there's a ton of wafer thin rubbish too. Most of it comes from a number of factories and is just resold.
