Well, unless someone offers to run this as a race on the game platform, which has already been suggested by Aragonite in another thread, I thought we'd have a Forum Game Competition!
Based on the success of the 1st one, this should be great!
The competition would cover all stages of the Dubai Tour from Start to Finish.
The rules, like for the first game I proposed, are extremely simple:
Riders will score points if they place in the Top 35 places for the day. The winner gets 35 points. The subsequent riders will receive points (34, 33, 32, ...) until rider No. 35, who will get 1 point. Every day.
No budget is set. You can pick up to 8 riders. No Sprint points, GC, KM, YR or 'Last Man In' points will be awarded. Just points at the Finish Line.
The full Start List is posted here:
http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Dubai_Tour_2017_Startlist
After very little research I have posted my team below!
It might be fun to try the Volta A La Comunitat Valenciana the same way!
Right now the full Start List does not appear on ProcyclingStats.com for that race (http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Volta_a_la_Comunitat_Valenciana_2017...).
Deadline is the actual Race Start, whenever that is! I'll post it later! Thanks!

Sorry, I just won't have time to do one.
Ok. I'll take Oman since it's the one I'm most familiar with. Do we keep the teams Purists? No transfers?...
I'm keen for all three. Oman is usually quite interesting and the other two are very varied (sprints, summit finishes, time trials) so they'd make for good competition.
Unless other people show an interest (come on other people!), how about we score one each? Same 'rules' as per Dubai?
Oman: 14.02 -- 19.02
Andalucia: 15.02 -- 19.02
Algarve 15.02 -- 19.02
A good idea to run something like this for those races not included in the official calendar. Perhaps a race with a more varied parcours would be a bit less predictable, require a bit more skill and be a bit more interesting!
Oman? Algave? Andalucia?
I'd be up for Oman and Andalucia! I've never really followed Algave... When are they?...
