Wondered if anyone had opinions on the two bikes above? Both currently available at just under £1k. Or any alternative suggestions at this price point?

 

My work has  finally setup a cycle to work scheme so time to upgrade from my 30 year old peugeot…  I do around 35 miles a day – mainly commuting.

I have a 2013 z4 so not disc

I have a 2013 z4 so not disc but same geo.  I’ve put nearly 7000 miles on been very reliable and still looks great still on original Bottom bracket bearings (bb30) I had a spoke go on the original shimano wheels but that just enabled an upgrade.  Comfortable & fast.  Upgraded end of last year to a Canondale Supersix which is more racey but requires more maintenance.  You couldn’t go wrong I’d say.  I still don’t see the point of disc but that’s personal choice. 

 

edit just had another look identical to mine except mine is 10 speed Ultegra.
