Cycling sunglasses for hayfever & dry eyes

I'm looking for advice on a good pair of cycling sunglasses that help to keep the wind out of your eyes.

I currently have the bolle draft and they are okay. It's hard to find ratings on this issue!

I figured some with bigger lenses may work:

- bolle 6th sense: reviews say they are ultra windy (great if you fog up though).  (http://road.cc/content/review/165826-bolle-6th-sense-cycling-sunglasses)
- Oakley jawbreaker: no idea
- Smith Pivlock Max: no idea

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem but recently found an answer. In a local shop that sells working and industrial clothing they also had protective plastic eyeglasses. These cover the top, sides and at the base. They are smart and strong with no metal frame so are totally transparent and hard to see when worn. They fit perfectly over my normal spectacles and have given zero problems on long 'bike rides. I even forget to take them off  in cafes or shops. There is a hole at the rear of each arm if you wish to fit an elastic or drawstring. They have made a big difference and I am warmer too now winter is coming. They will also give good eye protection from the impact of insects stones or if in an accident. Amazingly mine cost under 2  quid! If you loose them who cares just get another. Mine are called Lux optic- Visilux. I recently saw an MP wearing them on TV whilst visiting a factory. They looked great. Good luck.

Goggles? http://www.bolle-safety.com/safety-goggles/pilot-pilopsf

Otherwise, I have seen sunglasses like larger swimming goggles - eye cups with flexible nose bridge. A little "unusual ", but may work for you.

Goggles may very well be the fashionable solution! (: I've thought of trying them, but have concerns about fogging.  It's normal for me to fog up immediately when I stop.

I have tried the 'swim goggle' sunglasses from 7eye. They don't conform differing face shapes very well, so I didn't get a good seal.

Got my hands on a Smith Pivlock Arena. They are great glasses but will be going to my partner because they can't handle my large nose and have to sit very far from my face.

The search continues.

I bought a pair of Bolle B-Rock glasses at the beginning of the summer and really rate them. I tried numerous pairs of Oakleys before settling on them but never found a pair that seemed to fit my face all that well. I used them during this year's Etape in France where the temperatures were high and they never steamed up despite the copious volume of sweat that I produced!

Any decent glasses with a one-piece lens should do the trick. I have the Bolle Vortex and no wind gets through at all but I managed to crack the arm when bending it and the lenses are nothing special. I have some Oakley Radar Prizm Paths coming today.

+1 What he/she said!I've got some Oakley Jawbreakers, but got given a pair of dirt cheap Bolle Contours, and they are amazing!! They hardly fog up at all! Superb glasses! and they are £6-£8!!! they are clear, so I've put the Jawbreakers away and am using these for the daily 20 mile  commute.

Well, the label-centric side of your brain might not like this but, out of all of the glasses that I've got (including Oakleys), the best at keeping the wind out of my eyes are Bolle Contour safety glasses.

They come with smoked or clear lenses and will cost you about £8/pair on ebay.  At that price, it's got to be worth a go - CONTPSI or CONTPSF (clear and smoked respectively).  There are other lenses available too (polarised etc) but those do me.

They don't fog up unless it's a really damp day and you stop or your're honking up a hill.

My Oakleys tend to get left behind frankly.
