is there any noticeable difference between these two groupsets other than  weight ? I’ve ordered a CX bike with Force but the build date keeps getting put back due to (I think) inavailability of some Force components, whereas builds incorporating Rival are available.

Based on my experience of riding through Knightsbridge, I believe some people resolve this by buying both.
