Which Grand Tour ?
Here is a question I have been teasing myself with.
Which is the best three week grand tour?
I blogged on here about the Giro being so magnificent back in June /content/blog/18119-memories-2010-giro but so far the Tour has been as exciting.
The Vuelta never seems to match the racing (despite having the Angliru) but has a lovely end of season/summer ambience.
What do you reckon?

The vuelta always seems a bit like that end-of-the-season football game where all the supporters turn up in fancy dress and the action is a bit stifled. or is that just me?
lots of big names say they're coming this year. all of the saxo bank heavy hitters, cav too. plus a few dropped out of the tour with the vuelta in their sights, pozzatto for instance.
anyway it'll be more fun now NEW AND IMPROVED fantasy vuelta is coming your way...
Tour for history/scenery/atmosphere. Giro for 'stunt' climbs/fans/racing drama. Vuelta not in the same league.
