Hi guys,
I’m riding Genesis Equilibrium disc and at the moment there is no love between the fork and myself :), not to say that I hate the flex that I get out of it in the form of disc pad rubbing (every time I’m nailing it out of the saddle).
Anyhow, I started reading about “trying” to fit one of the newer (1.5 inch) tapered disc forks (Kinesis Aithein springs to mind, ENVE Road disc 2.0 if I save up some cash, Mason Aperture if Dom wants to sell me one or maybe even an Enigma CSIX)…and at first it seemed like a hopeless attempt.
However, I read that Cane Creek X44 lower cup might help, although finding it might not be so easy. Apprently, there are two versions (series 40 and more expensive 100). Now, am I wrong in assuming that this might work? Any experiences?
Thanks guys!
