Please help.  I can buy a ticket for the ferry as a foot passenger, but there is no more space for bikes.

In an ideal world, I would rock up to Portsmouth. Meet one of you good samaratens. Put my bike in the back of your vehicle, and climb aboard as a foot passanger.

The return journey is no problem; there is room for bikes.

Please spread the word if you cant help.

    Keep’em rolling,  SA

    I agree with riotgibbon most

I agree with riotgibbon most ferries do not have specific spaces for bikes anyway you just tie up to railings in the hold. Alternatively, do you know anybody you could borrow a folding bike from and carry it onboard or google bike hire in Cherbourg.

sorry, not going, but what I

sorry, not going, but what I always try in these situations is ringing up the company and sobbing pathetically. Those ferries are huge, there must be room somewhere – definitely worth abandoning your dignity for a sob down the phone

    any help?
