Kids' bikes
Very good reviews on here for the Islabikes Luath, and the Workx bikes.
Does anyone have any experience of the Genesis kids' bikes- eg

my lad has had both the Luath, and now a Worx. The owner of Worx has a lad in our racing club, which did influence our decision a bit, not least because he seems to win every race he goes anywhere near on a Worx bike, but also because they've got oil in their blood
Worx are fantastic for racing, really nice. They've also got the micro-shift gear changers, which my boy now insists on
Worx are all about the racing, if that's what you want it for, then you couldn't do better
