Any recommendations?  I just don’t want to spend 2 or 3 hundred quid on a GPS device that I know I just won’t get the usage from – rather buy some new wheels.

The ones I’ve seen appear to be quite bulky so wondered if there was any a little more svelte available – just like me…

I’ve used an Uncommon Designs

I’ve used an Uncommon Designs Safety Case for the last two years – can’t really fault it.

And stuck to the back of it is a Quadlock Universal Mount – http://www.quadlockcase.co.uk/products/universal-adapter

 

The case comes with a headphone adapter, and is the slimmest, easiest-entry/exit waterproof case I’ve found. Sound quality can be a bit muffled, but hey – it’s waterproof. Can’t compare with the audio using the Nuud ones, but they are harder to get in/out.

Buy a Sony Z1 Compact from

Buy a Sony Z1 Compact from ebay for £70 and mount that instead, it’s fully waterpoof, runs all the apps and has BTLE and ANT+ built in (no need for a dongle).

Also does phone calls if you’re into that sort of thing 🙂
