I rode the Portway outbound on Monday and struggled to hit 14 mph till I got to Bridge Valley  Road then all of a sudden I was freewheeling at 24 mph. I suffered the same fate on the return journey, nice nad easy till I got to the bend at the bottom then single figure speed to the lights.
