Hi I am after some help. Trying to get a tow bar fitted to our ford s max titanium. Lots of varying prices quoted but the key talking point is none of the fitters are clear on how much of the bumper they need to cut, in order to fit. 

Has anyone out there had a tow bar (7 pin electrics) fitted on an Ford S Max? I am based in Surrey and would be grateful of any advice.

The factory fit ford tow bars
The factory fit ford tow bars normally have a small curve cut out on the lower edge of the bumper. Only noticed if you get on your knees to fit/remove tow ball

and no cut out was needed – you could check your s-max on their website, the instructions show where a cut out is needed
