Preternaturally warmed globally by the pacific child through the Advent, a chill wind now finally ends the inundation of unholy wed Eva and Frank. Those that has previously been garbed in their short trousers now donned their vestments of Roubaix and ventured forth to their place of work for barely the reward of ‘flat rate overtime.’ On his sojourn our hero expected to win many Kings of the Mountains medallions for this new age. But mystery, where were the awards so plentyful just three hundred and sixty five days ago? The King’s hollow crowns have slipped from view, sorrow.

No ‘flat rate overtime’ on this watch…in fact no real recompense for working the first day of the year…merely one days wage for one 12 hour shift…one hast but ‘salary’….and is expected to do the work of 7.

…and one has no velocipede, for it was slain but seven days afore the feast of Wenceslas…no good blacksmith can mend the beast as one’s frame has no dropout of the rear left to attach a mechanism of derailling….oh sorrow!

Perhaps the Giant making it’s way to one’s abode from the land of the Vandals will make the heart soar once more….hasten ye to my abode oh two wheeled conqueror of melancholy…
