Hi, Im looking to buy a jersey for Melbourne’s spring/autumn/winter. I ride beachside as well as in land and temperatures go down to sub 10 degrees celcius minus wind chill. I’ve got a base layer already but would like to know which is better for my purposes / experiences with the jerseys! The Transparente is windproof at the front but costs a fair bit more.

If you’re willing to consider alternatives to Castelli, the Giordana FR-C is absolutely brilliant, though you’ll need a base layer under it.

I havent used either of of your suggestions, but i do have the Alpha jacket. Very good and highly adjutbale temp range with your base layer- might be worth a look?
