Hi all,

My bike to work scheme starts in November and I’m frantically reading reviews of bikes and reading up on whats good and bad on roadies as this will be my first road bike.

The scheme my company has is via Evans so unfortunately brands like Canyon are out of the window but I think I’ve narrowed it down to 2 bikes, The Specialized Tarmac sport and the cannondale caad12.

Does anyone have any experience of these 2 bikes?

One is carbon fibre and the other aluminium so I imagine the ride experience is quite different?

Also, is it worth spending the extra cash on a 2016 model or will a 2015 one do the job?

go 2015 if you can get what you want in your size.  some great discounts at evans on the old models.

The CAAD12 is the latest

The CAAD12 is the latest model.

Ive only ridden my 10 and I love it.  I still like carbon but the 12 is much cheaper and doesn’t give a dull ride.

Find a dealer that allows a test ride.
