GREAT DEAL on Cannondale Synapse Carbon Disc (heads up!)

Hi Gents!!

I've been looking for a new Sportive bike and done all the online research and groundwork. One that kept coming up tops was the Cannondale Synapse carbon, with disc brakes and Ultegra.

Cheapest I could get it for was an ex-demo at Evans (it had paint scratch and a chunk out of some metal, nothing major and a good price therefore).

When I took this info to START CYCLES (In Newcastle upon Tyne) they said they'd undercut Evans' price.

On the back of that they have from Monday past, just reduced ALL these Cannondales to £1700 BRAND NEW!!!!! This is the 'Sportive Bike of the Year' for 2014 folks!! so worth a gander (they have an online site too). So YES, I've bought one!!

Tell them PADDY (with the broken collar bone!!) recommended the offer to you (hey! I might get a free bag of jelly beans next time I'm in!! haha!). But after looking at CRC; Wiggle; Evans...etc, this was the best deal I could get.

PS: They also have the most beautiful Bianchi Instenso (only one) reduced by about £600!!! I was tempted as Italian styling just hits me in the heart! But it would need upgrading in some areas, so the Cannondale won (bang for buck & performance). Hope this is useful to someone. GOOD LUCK!! - Paddy.

Are you talking 2015 or 16 model?,either way £1700 sounds a great deal!!. I bought mine last may,and have loved it,bar the slick tyres(700x28), but soon rectified with a pair of gatorskins, i did some local research at time and found nobody including evans had any stock!,until late April, when evans finally got hold of stock, fortunatly they were doing a deal against old cycles and used a dead BMX in shed that once belonged to my step son, that reduced my price by 10%, but still cost £2250. Unfortunatly 4 weeks today i was involved in a high speed collision with another cyclist,which ruined front of bike (and busted 3 ribs!!),luckily i had taken out an insurance policy just 6 weeks beforhand, Only issues was no stores could get genuine forks (green & black), and after lots on conversations with insurance company, they decided a new bike the way to go!!, so i have a new 2016 black & white model being delivered by SBS friday!!. BIKMO insurance worth a look, at realistic prices. happy & safe cycling to you all........enlightened

PS. Cant belive the pain 3 bloody ribs can cause you,cant see my cycling back on track until november at earliest!!
