Happened to me this week as well, guessing everyone is over at Eurobike hunting out new bits!
AJ - Road.cc should pay us for doing their research for them (or at least give us a mention when they rehash a story we find elsewhere and post to the forum).
The story on the news page was posted AFTER I posted it to the forum. You're welcome.
Sucks when you're wrong doesn't it!
I was pointing out that it will not now get any attention. Sucks when people jump up onto their high-horse.
Your use of the word "thought" implies that he hadn't in fact posted first. Perhaps you meant to type "though"?
Yes, lets make this all about me. As you can't particularly tell which post was first, this is rather moot. The fact is the website was writing the story up when he posted and stole his thunder. Thunder was stole, this is my point.
This forum post was started @ 10:19 (as you can see from list of latest topics). There's only a date on the news story but the first comment on it was @ 11:42 so a good 90 minutes later (there may be a timestamp of when it was published embedded in the HTML but who cares?).
As for the thunder, they can keep it. It frightens my high horse.
This is now on the News page. Thought you spotted an interesting story first. Sucks doesn't it.
