About 10 days ago i “agreed” to have a bike, and went off to sort my cycle work voucher, no deposit paid or anything like that, the LBS do price match but not on the initial voucher amount as i think they lose 10% anyway…. my quandry is that i have now discovered the general countrywide price online has dropped dramatically by £350! what do i do? surely they cant expect me to happily cough up an extra £350 more than i can get the bike for elsewhere? I would gladly pay an extra 10% to cover the loss on the cycle scheme, do i ask for the discount or pull out if they ask me to pay the extra?

I was in a similar quandry with my cycle scheme voucher – places often stick the price up when they know you have a voucher – in the end I bought online (with an online discount voucher) so withdrew from the cycle scheme voucher as I got a great deal online that matched a retail shop using the cycle scheme voucher but without the conditions attached to the scheme – if you want to get it from a lbs though, I would push for the price match or get it from another lbs!

Were you able to cancel the voucher? i thought once it was approved it is non cancellable?
