I’ve made the switch to road cycling from mtb’s a year ago, now I can’t seem to get my head around fingerless gloves, they just don’t look right, in my opinion anyway, however I’ve never tried them, they just remind me of homeless people(sorry no offence, best way to describe them) :^o
I’ve been wearing summer running gloves full finger which are ok but I’m now after a full finger roadie glove, The mtb full finger gloves are either to padded/bulky for the road bike.
Does anyone else wear full finger gloves when on the road bike?
Not talking about the colder months.
I can’t wear no gloves either.
If anyone has some can they point me in the direction of where to buy them, I’ve seen some nice castelli ones for autumn but they’d probs be to warm for summer use.

They cost a bit more but i wear Castelli full finger gloves. They have little padding but they are very comfy and even on one of the recent hot days my hands dont seem to get to hot.
As for fingerless i wear a very old pair of Specialized that have suede on the palms !

I generally wear half finger
I generally wear half finger cycling gloves padded to decrease the numb of hand. As fluorescent yellow is my favorite, I wore Monton TT fluorescent yellow https://www.montonsports.com/monton-bike-gloves-tt-fluorescent-yellow.html only USD23, flat rate shipping fee 5USD. They have fluorescent orange, pink, red, blue and black as well.

The surface is Lycra fabric soft enough for you to wipe sweats.

If you are wearing gloves for warmth / windproofedness then just wear whaterver fits the bill, or running ones.
Personally unless its cold I wear padded mitts (i.e. fingerless gloves) as protection, as I know if I came off those thin palmed full finger gloves wouldnt stop the tarmac tearing in to my hands.

Leather and merino, machine washable and in the right size almost no loss of dexterity. Getting money out of wallet/pocket etc is all fine, plus I don’t have to take them off to use the phone as they work with touch screen. Downside is they are about £50 but given they have lasted 4.5 years of daily summer commuting as well as lesure riding I think they represent value (and they save having to change greasy ugly bar tape).

I too prefer full-finger
I too prefer full-finger gloves. Personally, I use Specialized Body Geometry ones, as I really like the ulnar nerve channel – I find the ‘Ridge’, which are mesh-backed, perfect for summer riding.
