Problem
I was trying to swap my rear cassette last night – but it was stuck on
The teeth had bitten hard into the splines
So I am going to use the double chain whip solution to get it off (this weekend,when I get another chain whip)
But the free hub is going to have some deep grooves

Question
I’d like to replace the free hub with a new one (without the damage)
Can I use ‘any’ Shimano free hub body?
It is a DT Swiss 10 speed shimano hub/ wheel set
