I will be there bright and early taking part in the 80 mile ride.

I have a pretty obvious Rubix Cube tattoo and will no doubt be sporting the road.cc socks! If you see me be sure to say hello.

Total moving time over 80 miles was 4hrs 59mins however I suffered a few mecahnical issues (shredded tyre & broken chain) resulting in my overall time exceeding 6hrs 30.

Despite the mechanical issues and the heavy rain at the end, I can honestly say this stands out as being one of my new favourites cycling events.

The route was chosen by someone who clearly loves cycling and the local area, the route was spot on. The signage was perfect, I didn’t look at the route section of my GPS once.

My first time riding Cheddar gorge… WOW! I set a very respectable time on that climb 😀

All the staff I interacted with we lovely, polite & professional, adding to the whole experience even more.

And the feed stations! They had some real good cake.

There was also a complete mixture of abilities participating. Was really nice to see.

I deffinately reccomend this event.
