Hi folks,
Considering upgrading my bike, I was initially looking at at a Trek Émonda sl5 or a canyon ultimate SL (ultegra build) but my local bike shop recommended a Lapierre Sensium 400 with wheels upgraded to Ksyrium Elite S (everything else as stock).
The Canyon I’ve scrapped as a plan because I can’t avail of the bike to work scheme (€520 in the difference!) but I remain torn between the Émonda and this new (to me) option of the Sensium.
I’m hoping somebody may have personal experience of the bikes in question and is willing to share a few Details and personal opinions on their bikes – the good the bad and the ugly 😀
I’m not racing, just getting out once or twice a week with one c. 100km spin per weekend and head down to Andalucia for a few days on the bike 2-3 times a year. Basically cycling for sanity…
Any and all opinions welcome.
Thanks,
C.
