    The presence of three dots
    The presence of three dots (ellipses) at the end of a sentence or phrase is not necessarily incorrect or improper, it merely indicates that the point being put across is incomplete. Use of more than three dots is incorrect.

    Eg Having seen this thread, I posted a topic entitled “For forks sake…”. My use of ellipsis in this case simply indicating that there was more to the topic than I could be arsed putting in the title and that some further reading of the topic itself would be required to fully understand the subject.

    There is however a lot of morse code floating about….
