First big ride of the year yesterday, day 1 of the Tour of Wessex. Glorious route, perfect weather, great atmosphere, lovely day. 112 miles as I missed a turn, climbing Cheddar Gorge is a spectacle with the towering rocks above you.
Hats off to all those lining up for days 2 and 3. Great achievement for an early season event.
