    Woo! First grand tour of the year is here! Should be exciting with the new transfer rules!
    Went out and had a great ride this morning with lots of climbs as a little tribute to the climbing these guys will be putting in over the next few weeks!

    Boaro is 7th on GC,
    Boaro is 7th on GC, 18+4

    Gerrans 1st on GC 20+10

    Matthews is 2nd on GC and 1st on YR GC so 20+9+5

    I’m confused by the scoring
    I’m confused by the scoring for the TTT. Michael Matthews (OGE) has been given 34 points, but his teammate Simon Gerrans has 30. I thought Gerrans crossed the line first, and is the GC leader?

    I was expecting to see 20 points for each OGE team member, with Gerrans getting 10 pts for GC lead…but not sure how Matthews has scored 34, or Boaro 22 :/

    It doesn’t matter where they
    It doesn’t matter where they finish in team time trail scoring, they played their part in getting the team to the finish and score the same as every member of the team
