A strange thing with my Mio 305
While trying the Mio speed sender, after a hefty push on the pedal with the bike on the stand, the speed soars immediately up to about 250 km/h, and only decreases slowly as the wheel spins comes to a stop …
Could there be some problem with that 305?

    My answer was not complete
My answer was not complete …
“Does the 305 automatically assess the wheel dimensions or do you have to programme in you wheel circumference etc?”
That was an eye opener !
I thing I masde a mystake : while the programme requires ‘centimeters”, I quite mechanically use our way of measuring a wheel … millimeters !
So the poor thing is assessing my speed on the the base of 2113 cm (211,3 meter) instead of 2,113 meter.
And that is more thant possibly the reason of my problem !!!
Too late for a check tonight, I’ll be back tomorrow evening.

    Excellent answer !
    Actually,

    Excellent answer !
Actually, a friend suggested me to ignore the sensors, and ride with the GPS.
I’ll do some trial tomorrow and let you know.
Please send me any feedback you get !

Is this the first time you
Is this the first time you have used it, or was it functioning properly before?
Does the 305 automatically assess the wheel dimensions or do you have to programme in you wheel circumference etc?
    I would check that first.

My actual wheel speed sensor has completely stopped working on my 315. So I am having to use the GPS speed on the road, but it doesnt help on the indoor trainer!!!!
I am waiting on feedback from Mio.
So I cant help I am afraid.

Have you raised a question with Mio?
