A friend has a Whyte Cornwall that has developed excessive play in the freehub after 1000 miles. The local Whyte dealer is saying a week or so to even have a look at it.
i’m very familiar with swapping Shimano freehubs, but the Whyte one is unbranded, and looks like it takes an 11 or 12mm. Is it a large hex required? which one? Or is it one that you just pull off?
Also, are they actually a dedicated part or are they a generic I could source from someone other than Whyte?
Any help much appreciated.
