Having difficulty getting the Wahoo RPM with Ant+ to pair with my Garmin 705.

Anyone got any useful tips? I’ve got the flashing blue and red lights on the RPM, and also changed the battery, but no reading on the 705. The 705 is picking up the heart rate monitor though via Ant+?

    cheers,

    As has already been said

As has already been said (written) the 705, being an older model will not recognize the separate speed and cadence sensors.

I have an old Garmin speed/cadence sensor available for the price of postage if you want it.

yeah can you set the 705 to look for just a “cadence” sensor or “cad”…as opposed to a “spd/cad” sensor.

I can’t vouch for your model,
I can’t vouch for your model, but from all accounts, some Garmin’s only support combined speed/cadence units and not cadence only sensors. Older units don’t even support Garmin’s recent cadence only sensor that straps to the crank apparently.
